The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in inventory management. The Storekeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and ensuring the smooth operation of the storeroom.

Job Description/Requirements Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring proper documentation and data entry.
• Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular physical counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Storage Management: Organize and store items in an orderly manner, ensuring easy access and retrieval, and maintaining a clean and safe storeroom environment.
• Receiving and Inspection: Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders, reporting any discrepancies or damaged items.
• Order Fulfillment: Prepare and issue materials and products as needed, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date inventory records and prepare regular reports on stock levels, usage, and trends.
• Coordination: Coordinate with procurement, production, and other departments to ensure inventory needs are met and any issues are resolved promptly.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all storeroom activities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management or logistics is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory management role.
• Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
