Corporate Communications Officer

Job Overview: Our client, a prominent bilateral trade promotion organization, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Communications officer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the organizations communication strategies, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, and promoting the organizations mission and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to promote the organizations mission, programs, and initiatives.

· Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.

· Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials. Coordinate media events, interviews, and press conferences.

· Create, edit, and oversee the production of various communication materials, including newsletters, reports, brochures, and social media content.

· Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with the organizations brand and objectives.

· Develop and manage internal communication channels to ensure employees are informed about key updates, initiatives, and organizational news.

· Monitor and analyze media coverage and communication campaign performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.

· Manage the organizations social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.

· Handle crisis communication and develop strategies to mitigate potential reputational risks.

· Collaborate with various departments to gather information and create cohesive communication plans that support organizational goals.

· Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices in corporate communications and public relations.

• Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 3 years experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role.
  
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  
• Strong media relations skills and experience working with journalists and media outlets.
  
• Proficiency in using social media platforms and digital communication tools.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
