SALES MANAGER

Our ideal candidate will be a passionate and resilient salesman driven by the ambition to exceed set targets and increase the companys market share in the solar industry. He/She will be responsible for organizing and supervising our sales team. You will manage sales by developing business plans, setting targets, adopting strategies to penetrate the assigned territory, start and close sales and co-ordinate other administrative functions.

DUTIES

· Develop business plans and strategies for the assigned territory to increase and maintains sales;

. Setting sales targets for the team members;

. Build a strong knowledge and understanding of the wide spctrum of the companys products and services;

. Conduct competitive analysis reports to know what competing brands offer and how to build an edge;

. Identify current market trends and consmer behaviour;

. Recommend pricing and packaging options to management based on feedback from the markets;

. Build partners and agents across the territory for wider coverage;

· Researching prospects and generating leads;

· Contacting potential and existing customers for patronage;

. Adopting multiple customer retention strategies to drive cutomer loyalty;

. Conduct periodic KYC updates to stregthen the relationship with exiting customers;

· Training sales staff;

. Mentor and motivate the sales team;

· Explain accurately the features, benefits and pricing of products and services;

· Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports in collaboration with the team;

· Preparing and sending proposals and quotes;

· Managing the sales process through specific software programs;.

· Building and maintaining a customer database;

· Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets;

· Participating in sales team meetings remotely and physically;

. Present expense, revenue and sales reports to the management team;

· Looking after pre and post sales activities;

· Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

• HND or BSC in any relevant discipline;
• 4 years or more proven experience in a sales role;
• 5 years experience in a managerial and leadership role;
• Sales background in the solar industry is compulsory;
• Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets;
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite and CRM applications;
• Familiar with the engagement of partners and agents;
• Exceptional networking and relationship building skills;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints as well as objections;
• Management and leadership skills;
• Presentation and analytical skills;
• Ability to analyze sales data.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₦250,000.00 - ₦280,000.00 per month
