Gas Station Supervisor

Overseeing daily operations at a fuel station, a Gas Station Supervisor manages staff, ensures safety compliance, handles cash transactions, and maintains inventory. Key tasks include scheduling shifts, training employees, and resolving customer complaints.

• Experience Length: 1 year

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage gas station staff to ensure efficient operations
• Schedule and assign duties to employees, monitor their performance, and provide feedback and coaching
• Oversee inventory control and ordering of fuel, merchandise, and supplies
• Monitor sales and expenses to ensure profitability and implement strategies to increase revenue
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
• Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Perform cash management duties, including preparing deposits, reconciling cash drawers, and monitoring cash shortages or overages
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fuel pumps, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to handling fuel and other hazardous materials
• Ability to manage inventory, ordering, and stocking of merchandise
• Customer service skills and the ability to resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
• Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team of employees
• Understanding of basic accounting principles to manage cash handling and reporting
• The candidate must be a graduate

Work Schedule: Availability to work 15 days a month (ie) 1 day on 1 day off from 6am-6am

Two weeks training on site

• Managing day to day activities in the filling station
• Managing pump attendants
• Making sure all sales made are calculated accurately at the end of each shift
• Balancing up and handing over to the accounting department at the end of your shift.
• Making sure product that comes is complete and giving a full report of this once product is brought to the station

Remuneration: NGN 70,000
