Backend Developer

Objectives of this role

- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, product project managers, quality assurance teams, and other developers regarding progress on long-term technology roadmap

- Create and maintain workflows with teams to provide visibility and to ensure workload balance for consistent visual designs

- Develop and oversee testing schedules in client server environment, addressing various browsers and devices to ensure that content is displayed as intended

- Produce quality code, raising the bar for team performance and speed

- Recommend systems solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchased alternatives

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Translate application user stories and use cases into functional application modules

- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable .net, C# and VC++ code.

- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

- Develop new tools/modules which improve productivity of Clinicians thus improving quality of patient care

- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them in providing efficient operational software solutions

- Data Modeling to ensure solutions cover various Business and Operation scenarios

- Participates in team concepts and promote a team effort; performs duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.

- Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

- At least 3 years of experience in developing back-end applications using ASP.NET, C#, and related technologies.

- Proficient in server-side programming languages such as C# and SQL.

- Experience with database technologies such as MSSQL or MySQL, including database design, optimization, and management.

- Familiarity with web development tools such as Visual Studio, Git, and Visual Studio Code.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including serverless architecture and containerization.

- Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architecture.

- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation, including authentication and authorization mechanisms.

- Understanding of Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the development team, including designers, project managers, and other stakeholders.

- Willingness to learn new technologies and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
