Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the companys objectives and needs.
  • Source suppliers and vendors, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts and terms.
  • Review purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements and provide timely support and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including contracts, orders, and invoices.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation in procurement activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on procurement activities, performance metrics, and cost savings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in English language, both written and verbal.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in procurement processes and documentation.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.

Pay: From ₦120,000.00 per month
